<H1>Jean Duncan Artistic Biography</h1>
Entirely self taught, I have loved painting in oil, acrylic and watercolour
for as long as I can remember. My family have been famous for their
artwork for three generations. All of my family paint, and my uncle is a
particularly well known artist in China - he has recently exhibited work in
the National Gallery based in Shanghai.
My artistic gifts have led to employment working in interior design and
advertising for blue chip companies, but I set up my own web based Art
business, jean-duncan.com, in October 2004.
Since then I am thrilled and humbled to have had many delighted customers
- around 50% of whom have collected more than one piece. Some as
investments. Comments from customers include, “Beautiful Paintings”, “I wish I
possessed only half your talent” & “There were certainly lots of tears” (upon
receiving a portrait of a grandchild as a Christmas gift)
